2013 The next chance at change....Join me

Hello Everyone,

2012 was a long year and yet it went to fast also.  I'm sure if you are over the age of 30 and bothering to read this, you know exactly what I mean.  After all, time passes faster than rain falls these days!
I was looking back over the many things from this past year.  I took time to reflect on all the Wonderful people I was able to meet, along with my friends I already know.  Other than the loss of my father, It was all in all a good year.

2013 has picked up speed and is mostly over. Breaking Bad is back on and next will be The Walking Dead.  I've also picked up on watching Under the Dome.  That is about the only ones I have time to keep up with for now.  I've been blessed enough to visit Florida several times this year and planning another trip or two down to the white sand and ocean breeze.  It's one of the few things in my life right now that makes perfect sense and puts my soul at ease.  Don't get me wrong, there is nothing major changing in my life that I know of and I'm happy most of the time.  Life is good and keeps on ticking past.  I know that one day I will look back on these last few years of my life and smile for the memories I have with Friends.

Well those are the random thoughts all floating around inside my head tonight, guess I will get off here and wash some laundry, clean up the dishes from dinner tonight.  If I am not to tired after that, I think I will start D2's scrapbook for her Junior year of school.  Hope each of you out there enjoy some time to reflect and smile on the events so far in your lives this year.

Tweet Up's are Missed

I've been looking back over this year and it seems like things have changed more than I thought. I miss our tweet ups with friends all getting together and hanging out. No expectations of anything other than good friends filling the theater and watching a cool movie. Eating out and talking about whatever comes up in the course of the evening. It was really nice and a great experience for me. So what I want to say here is: I miss you guys! Everyone who has ever been to the tweet ups and I miss having them. I think that clears up what's on my mind for this blog and I'm going to sign off and sort the mail.

December 2009 Our first ever Tweet Up!

This was our very 1st Tweet up with @sherriwilson, myself and @spacetruckerX.  We had so much fun just hanging out and watching a movie.  We met up earlier for dinner at the Scene and she brought with her William and another lady (forgive me I can't remember her name.)

 It was sure fun meeting her in person and getting to hang out with her and Steve. 

This brings me all the way back to our very first one and now it's time to start a new year of 2011 and try to keep it in order as we go this time.  I'm proud to have all these at least listed and now I can go back and enjoy the memories each time I look at this blog. 

Thanks to all my friends for the tremendous joy each of you have brought to my life.

January 2010

This was the first Tweet up that @Asimov7 and @Warriorblue joined us.  We all had dinner at the Scene and talked for over an hour or so.  Then Sherri had to be carded to make sure she was old enough to walk up the stairs ;)  She really loved this kid asking her for ID. 

We all watched "The book of Eli", it had a pretty cool ending which surprised me.

Tonight was "The Wolfman".  It was really good and we all met upstairs before the movie to sit and enjoy some social time catching up.  Also to comfort Sherri who wasn't sure this was going to be a good movie.  She might have a different write up on the outcome of the movie, but I loved it!

Those attending tonight was:  William, Sherri, Steve, Billy and myself.

Haveing made freinds with new people is something I feel is very nice and I'm enjoying my new twitter friends.

Last night Steve & myself met up with Sherri for her very first ever Midas Burger experience.  Arab has the only one, so that's cool for me :-)

Tonight I met up with Eve so she could enjoy Midas Burger's Famous Chicken Sandwich also.  Then we drove on to Monaco where we met the rest of the crew. 

Sherri had to be carded to make sure she could join us upstairs in the "grown up" section, better known as Prive. 

We all watched "Hot Tub Time Machine"  sitting in row DD of Prive, only because we didn't get our tickets early enough for us to all sit on AA as we love doing.  Oh well, we laughed so much that it really didn't matter where we sat.

Tonight we all went to see "Clash of the Titans" at Monaco.  We meet up at the Scene for dinner and drinks a couple hours before the movie started. Sherri shared her edamame with us.  It was the first time I tried any.  It's okay for green stuff...LOL.   We had a lot of fun hanging out and talking "shop".  They managed to get my drink order correct the first time ever!  I was about to give up on them learning how to make it.  We all sat in Prive, we took up the AA row of seats with lots of room to spare.  If you haven't tried Prive, you should at least once so you can raise the arm rests up :-)

Myself, Sherri, Steve, Billy, ??? I'm thinking Eve and Candace, is this right?
